How Far Is Your Resort from Antalya Airport? Distances and Drive Times

Antalya's coast is long. The airport sits just east of the city, and the resorts spread out for roughly a hundred kilometres in each direction — so a transfer can take twenty minutes or almost three hours depending on where you are staying. Below are real road distances and typical drive times from Antalya Airport, measured on the route our drivers actually take. Times assume normal traffic; summer evenings and Saturday changeover days can add a little.

Close to the airport: under 30 minutes

• Lara — 13.8 km, about 17 minutes. The nearest resort strip; many of the large hotels are here.
• Antalya city centre (Muratpaşa) — 15.7 km, about 20 minutes. For the old town, Kaleiçi, and city hotels.
• Kundu — 16.6 km, about 21 minutes. The themed hotels just east of Lara.
• Konyaaltı — 23.3 km, about 26 minutes. The long pebble beach on the west side of the city.

The east coast: Belek to Alanya

Heading east, the road is a fast, mostly straight highway. That is why Alanya, although far on the map, is not much slower than the much shorter western routes.

• Belek — 33.3 km, about 34 minutes. Golf courses and five-star resorts.
• Sorgun — 67.0 km, about 51 minutes.
• Side — 66.8 km, about 56 minutes. Ancient ruins right on the beach.
• Manavgat — 67.7 km, about 53 minutes.
• Okurcalar — 97.0 km, about 69 minutes.
• Avsallar — 102.9 km, about 73 minutes.
• Alanya — 127.2 km, about 89 minutes.
• Mahmutlar — 138.5 km, about 97 minutes. The furthest of the east-coast resorts.

The west coast: Kemer and beyond

West of Konyaaltı the road enters tunnels and then runs between the Taurus mountains and the sea. It is scenic and, past Kemer, winding. Distances are shorter than the east coast but the driving is slower.

• Beldibi — 45.2 km, about 41 minutes.
• Göynük — 52.4 km, about 47 minutes.
• Kemer — 61.3 km, about 55 minutes.
• Tekirova — 75.4 km, about 65 minutes.
• Çıralı — 94.4 km, about 87 minutes. The turn-off after Tekirova is a mountain road; allow the full time.
• Adrasan — 104.0 km, about 88 minutes.

The long one: Kaş

Kaş is 200.4 km from the airport and takes around 162 minutes — closer to three hours. It is a beautiful drive, but if you are landing late in the evening, plan for it: the last hour is on a coastal road with plenty of bends.
