Travelling with Children: Child Seats and Family Transfers from Antalya Airport

How to get a child seat in your transfer car, which vehicle fits a family with a pushchair, and why a private car is easier than a shuttle when you have small children.
A holiday with children starts at the airport, usually after a flight that felt longer than it was. The last thing you want is a queue for a shuttle or a taxi without a child seat. A private transfer removes both problems, but there are a few things worth knowing before you book.
Asking for a child seat
Just write it in the notes field when you book. Tell us how many seats you need and the age of each child, and we prepare the car with the right seat before we set out. There is no separate form and no extra step at the airport.
Which car for a family?
The fare is per vehicle, so the question is simply which vehicle your family fits into with everything you are bringing.
- A sedan takes up to 3 passengers and 2 large bags. Fine for one parent and a small child, tight for more.
- The Premium Van (a Mercedes V-Class) takes up to 6 passengers and 4 large bags. This is the usual choice for a family of four with luggage, and there is room for a child seat without anyone sitting sideways.
- The 12-seat minibus takes 12 passengers and 8 bags — for two families travelling together, or a group with a lot of luggage.
Pushchairs, travel cots and the rest
A folded pushchair usually rides in the luggage space alongside the suitcases. When you book, we ask how many bags you are bringing; count the pushchair as one of them if it is a large one, and mention bulky items such as a travel cot in the notes. That way the driver arrives with a vehicle that actually has the space, rather than finding out at the kerb.
Why private beats shared with small children
- No waiting at the airport for other passengers to arrive.
- No stops at other hotels — a tired child does not have to sit through three other drop-offs.
- Your driver tracks your flight, so if you land late the car is still there.
- You pay the driver at the end, in cash. Nothing to sort out on your phone while holding a toddler.
On the day
Your driver waits inside the terminal at arrivals with your name on a sign. Take your time at baggage claim; the driver waits up to two hours after landing at no extra charge, so there is no need to rush through the airport with children.
